Combat Rosary Giveaway!

silver_banner “The holy Rosary is a powerful weapon. Use it with confidence and you’ll be amazed at the results.”
–St. Josemaria Escriva

The Church has named October the month of the Holy Rosary, and countless saints, popes, and holy men and women have encouraged the use of this powerful prayer. To celebrate the power of the rosary, I’m giving away three AWESOME Church Militant Combat Rosaries!

What is a Combat Rosary? The Church Militant Combat Rosary is based upon the original pull chain rosary that was commissioned and procured by, believe it or not, the U.S. government and issued by the military, upon request, to soldiers serving in World War I. Some of these rosaries were also seen in WWII. Veterans recognize them as “Service Rosaries.”

Made of strong metal pull chain, this rosary is meant to endure. Special locking jump rings add to this rosary’s toughness. This rosary’s endurance is meant to highlight the hopeful words of Psalm 136: “His love endures forever.” This Combat Rosary’s use of the Pardon Crucifix, Miraculous Medal and St. Benedict Medal makes it a powerful spiritual assault weapon against evil forces attempting to separate us from the love of God and His will for our lives.

In other words, these rosaries are quite possibly the manliest sacramentals every produced.

  1. I would like to enter this contest. I have a grand son (one of five children) who is a wonderful catholic boy. He helps his grandfather (my husband) with St. Vincent de Paul food deliveries every Saturday morning. He has been helping for about three years. He helps fill the food boxes and does other chores at our church. His mother is a devout Catholic, however, his father is not. We are trying to help him be the best Catholic boy that he can be. A rosary like this for a 10 year old boy, just starting into manhood would be such a perfect gift. He is not ashamed of his faith, but he needs the good manly role models like his grandfather, etc. Again, this rosary would be a ‘manly’ gift for this young man.

    • Should you not win, I want to suggest to you for your grandson, that a simple 5 decade wooden rosary would also be a good candidate. They can be very sturdy and the plan simplicity of the wooden beaded variety can be viewed as more manly than “granma’s fancy rosary”. Also, a 10 YO boy is likely to lose one or more thru regular boy attrition as well.

  3. Sorry, I shared on both my personal Facebook page and also all three of my pages I manage. I cannot find the new email signup form either. Does that mean I can’t qualify for the giveaway? Does that mean I can’t qualify for the giveaway? Sorry. God Bless You anyway. +David —- broholdridge@gmail.com

  4. Thanks for the response concerning my 10 yr. old grandson;.
He has rosaries from his great grand mother and other people, but this would be a ‘manly’ rosary. He is an avid stamp, coin and old newspaper collector and takes very good care of his treasures. I was hoping this would be another weapon in our arsenal to help him be the Catholic young man that the devil is trying very hard to win to the evil side. As grand parents, we are limited, but I (and my husband) will fight the good fight and encourage him any way we can. We have him involved with as many “Catholic” men as possible to try and counteract what he doesn’t receive at home.
I know he would be thrilled and honoured to receive a ‘manly’ rosary to use.
God bless all who are involved with the Catholic Gentleman!
